Horses Leave Hoof-prints on your <3
A week before I turned 11, our horses were on a diet. So they needed to spend some of the day in the woods, away from all the grass. Horses love to eat grass. And when horses get excited about something, they kick both back feet into the air. A week before I turned 11, I just happened to be a little too close behind one of them as I let them into the grassy field. Now I’m 24 and she (the horse) is 32 minus one eye. We’ve been through a lot. I’ve never lived a day without her existence, one of the longest relationships I’ve ever had <3
This series encompasses my experience as a little girl (a major horse-girl) navigating extreme pain/emotions and gender roles.

Sweet Meat
“Sweet Meat” is a term I’ve used my whole life to describe the best bits of my soul sack. Examples of sweet meat include but are not limited to: armpit mush that people used to heavily critique online, that crease right under your bum cheeks, side tummy… all of the mushiest, fattiest, most supple parts of yourself.
I have found that the dimples that sweet meat creates are the most fun to render and abstract in paint.
So this series will be an ode to the mushiest parts of the people I love (including myself<3)

Let me explain, each bubble/orb/pearl is a small square canvas. In order to keep prices low and the gradient in tact, I’m willing to break the set of 196 up into 16 sets of 9 and 13 sets of 4. I will break up the sets so that every set is in the correct order. Sets of 2 squares by 2 squares (sets of 4) will be $120. Sets of 3 squares by 3 squares (sets of 9) will be $240. Transient temporarily lives in the chase street warehouses in sets of four or nine mounted on blonde-wood, as seen below right. My hope is that they will eventually each find their own homes allowing Transient to further transform.
